ALLÉE BLEUE herbs

The estate produces a full basket of fresh herbs which are packed and distributed daily to customers in the Western Cape. The herbs are produced all year-round utilizing both on farm production and carefully selected growers. The herbs are also used extensively in our own kitchens. In order to ensure the herbs are of the highest quality and freshness the herbs are grown in modern greenhouse and shade net facilities to complement the Mediterranean-style climate. The range of fresh herbs includes Sweet Basil, Coriander/Dhania, Dill, Fennel, French and Garlic Chives, Sweet Majoram, Mizuna, curly and Italian (flat) Parsleys, Rocket (wild and cultivated), Rosemary, Sage, Mint, Thyme, Lemon Grass, Oregano, Sorrel, Tatsoi, Watercress, Tarragon and Chervil.

ALLÉE BLEUE fruits

In excess of 80 hectares of fruit are grown on the estate including Nectarines, Pears, Plums and Persimmons (Sharon Fruit) for both the export and local markets. The varieties grown include Alpine and Mayglo nectarines, Laetitia, Songold, Ruby Nel, Amber Jewel, Pioneer, Teak Gold, Purple Majesty, Sun Kiss, Plums and Packham Triumph Pears.

ALLÉE BLEUE grapes

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Pinotage, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Viomier.

ALLÉE BLEUE olives

Mission (90%), Frantio, Manzinilla, Calamato varieties.
