Über-stylish luncheon

in celebration of the opening of Le Grand Hall

OWNERS of the historical Allée Bleue Estate near Franschhoek ? Elke and Wilfried Dauphin recently hosted an über-stylish luncheon to celebrate the opening of the wine farm?s Le Grand Hall. Cape society arrived en masse with children in tow to join the Dauphin family in welcoming in the latest addition to this picturesque estate. The ever-radiant Jo-Ann Strauss played Master of Ceremonies during a day that included a delicious lunch prepared by chef Dane Newton and ac companied Al lée Bleue wines introduced by winemaker Van Zyl du Toit.

Children were kept well entertained at the new picnic area and all in all, a "Le Grand" day was had. The new Le Grand Hall is a
250-seater venue designed to host receptions and launches on a truly grand scale. In keeping with Allée Bleue?s philosophy
of fusing old and new, traditional and innovative, historical and contemporary, Le Grand Hall provides a sophisticated, technologically advanced venue set amidst the splendour of heritage buildings and astounding natural beauty.
