Wine description |

Fermented in tank with temperatures peaking at 28 °C. Pressed off skins after 5 days. Malolactic fermentation in barrel.12 months in 20 % American and 80 % French oak. 50 % of the barrels were new. A fine and alluring wine with distinct chocolate and  (Independent review) raspberry aromas punctuated with roasted nut and liquorice flavours. The lithe tannin structure lends itself to early enjoyment yet promises good ageing potential. Mocca chocolate, cloves, liquorice and blackberries on the nose and palate. A well structured wine with a lingering finish.
