Wine description |

Fermented in tank with temperatures peaking at 28°C with post fermentation maceration for 2 weeks. 49 % tank matured and the rest in older barrels for nine months.

Winemaker?s notes |

A well structured wine with warm and inviting aniseed, red berry and earthy aromas, complimented by sour cherries, toasted tobacco leaf and fennel seed flavours on the palate. Recommended dishes: Enjoy with a smoked chicken salad, pesto and fresh mozzarella cheese. Kudu Carpaccio and fresh smoked green asparagus.
