Westkap

A purple colour with tints of violet and good viscosity are typical of this wine. The bouquet reveals distinct toasty aromas, complemented by ripe fruit nuances from blackcurrant, blackberry and a subdued mineral-earthy note and farmyard character. Subtle tobacco flavour and a peppery spiciness on the palate. Good finish with pleasant, well-integrated tannins.

Also available as a magnum (1.5 l).

Roasted or grilled beef, lamb or hearty veal dishes, pies and terrines, poultry, casseroles, white mould cheeses (e.g. camembert).
